The Planet Earth Cleaning Social Impact Program

Our love for cleaning (and funny cat memes) is only rivalled by our passion to act in the best interests of our environment and community. We are proud to have taken a monumental step forward in our social responsibility efforts through the creation of our Social Impact Program which launched December 2020.

Through our partnerships, and together with our clients, we are creating lasting, positive impacts on our planet. The actions we take now will reverberate through the countless fragile, at-risk ecosystems and the species inhabiting them.

We collaborate with several local and global charities whose work ranges from championing reforestation projects, to protecting endangered wildlife, to conservation and research of our marine life and enabling education for children in underdeveloped countries.

This program is an expression of our impassioned commitment to do our part, and our goal is that it will generate a greater awareness around the important work these organisations do.

Through an ever-growing list of partners, clients, supporters and the continuous moral backing of thousands of caring and likeminded souls, we’ve already made huge strides, but this is just the beginning. Together we can take our shared missions further and continue to change the world for the better. So, if you share our values and believe in sustainability, ethical consumption and greener tomorrows, then do as the cool kids’ do and join us, because the grass truly is greener on our side.

Charities we have supported and our impact so far…

Orangutan Alliance

Orangutan Alliance is a not for profit organisation ensuring the protection of endangered species and their habitats through bridging the gap between consumers, manufacturers, and conservation by promoting palm oil free alternatives and certification. The Planet Earth Cleaning Company has contributed to the planting of over 10,000 trees to help restore habitat for orangutans and other endangered species in The Leuser Ecosystem. Spanning over 6 million acres, it is the last place on Earth where orangutans, elephants and tigers coexist in the wild.

Hear No Evil – Australian Deaf Dog Rescue

‘Hear No Evil’ (HNE) are Australia’s leading rescue and re-homing group for deaf and special need dogs. Founded in Townsville QLD in 2014, HNE was set up specifically to give deaf dogs a second chance they deserve. Although, a relatively small organisation, they have very big hopes regarding the welfare of animals. The Planet Earth Cleaning Company has supported HNE through collaborations and cross promotions which have led to vital funds being raised which are used to pay for the medical expenses of rescue dogs and support their rehabilitation to get them ready to find their forever homes.

Marine Mammal Foundation

Their vision is to be a leading Australian marine mammal conservation organisation, protecting the marine environment through research, community engagement, and education. Through a Christmas giving campaign, The Planet Earth Cleaning Company was able to donate to the organisation which allowed them to update their very outdated navigation system. The new Simrad unit allows them to mark their research track, dolphin movement patterns, deploy and find their underwater soundscape monitoring equipment, and of course work safely on the water. This is crucial to their continued operation.

One Tree Planted

A non-profit organisation focused on global reforestation. They want to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees. Together we can restore forests, create habitat for biodiversity, and make a positive social impact around the world.

The Planet Earth Cleaning Company has contributed to planting over 1000 trees across Australia and Uganda.

My Small Help Australia

MySmallHelp (‘MSH’) is a registered charity that works to improve the welfare and education of disabled and disadvantaged children and young adults and their families in Nepal.
MSH’s focus is on providing educational resources (specifically for early years), to sponsoring education (provision of books and uniform), to helping fund building or renovation costs of schools and related buildings, attracting skilled and dedicated volunteers and assisting school leavers in finding employment.
With hubs in the UK and Nepal and 3 schools already built, The Planet Earth Cleaning’s very own Matt Rai has now set up MSH Australia and are now well on their way to building a fourth school. The Planet Earth Cleaning Company has donated funds contributing to the build of this exciting project.
